You are required to send the photo-page of your passport to your tour operator who will then apply for your visa.
Except for visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors travelling to Bhutan need a visa.
Most of these festivals are dedicated to Guru Rimpoche – the saint who introduced Bhutan to Buddhism.
Bhutan is an year-round destination. So, it is entirely up to you to decide your travel period.
